Wine & Cheese Networking

It is confirmed, the NYC Webgrrls Wine Tasting events are a big hit with everyone. The NYC Webgrrls' June event was another fabulous wine and cheese networking party at Moore Brothers Wine Company New York. We had an amazing turn-out which made for a very lively event! There were many new faces, along with veteran Webgrrls and new members. Those who joined that night received $5 off their membership, and all participants were offered 10% off any bottles of wine they bought.

David Moore himself was there to give everyone a taste of a selection of small farm wines from Europe. Our first sipping stop was a nice, cool bubbly from France, perfect for a hot summer day. This sparkling wine is delicious with cheese, and there were several cheeses to enjoy with all the wines. David followed with a light German white, a violet-scented Italian rosé, and a red French blend. The grand finale last taste was another Italian wine, this one a firm and aromatic red made from Dolcetto grapes.

Webgrrls enjoyed tasting each of the wines at their own pace, meanwhile networking with a great and diverse group of people. One woman new to Webgrrls expressed how comfortable she felt talking to everyone, something that cannot be said of all networking events out there. You could almost see the energy of ideas, business connections, and socializing in the air. Networking, exchanging job and business leads is much of what Webgrrls is all about, and there was plenty to go around.

Join NYC Webgrrls for two Blogging workshops in July!

We will be back with another Wine & Cheese networking event in September.
