The wine was fantastic, the Pink Palm Centro raffle was great and the people who attended were even better. We are talking about the NYC Webgrrls Wine Tasting Extravaganza last Tuesday evening and we had a record crowd for the event.

Here is what some of the attendees had to say:

Webgrrls Networking evenings provide a great setting to meet like-minded women who are serious about their business, while making it fun and enjoyable. Thank you for such a great evening!”

Jeannie Giordano – Entrepreneur - Reveeka, LLC

I'm rejoining Webgrrls today and this event was a great re-introduction to the group.  I got to talk to many women with the same interests, it was fun discovering what other women do and their skills.”

Carol Nissen - Freelance web production/design

Our subtle pink theme with the pink table clothes, pink-iced chocolate and vanilla cupcakes, the pink gift basket with the pink suitcase holding the pink prize...all in all made it a Pink Palm Centro smartphone raffling evening…all made possible by our sponsor for the evening, Palm Inc.

David Moore of the Moore Brothers Wine Company, again, was the wine master of the evening and guided us through some of the interesting details and unique feature of each of the wines.
NV Armance B Ampelidae,
2006 Domaine de la Potine Sauvignon,
2006 Corte Gardoni Custoz,
2005 Corzano e Paterno Chianti,
2005 Masia M Chateau la Casenove.

There were also cheese and cracker platters and fruit plates to enjoy…

NYC Webgrrls Chapter Leader Nelly Yusupova welcomed everyone for the evening. She stated that the NYC Webgrrls goals for the year is to grow our membership and offer even better events, classes and workshop to benefit our members and urged everyone to fill out a short survey to help us determine the best events, classes, and workshops to hold in NYC.

In anticipation of the Pink Centro raffle, Nelly introduced Kevin Kennedy, CEO of Webgrrls International. Kevin told of the many Centro buys he has influenced and that everyone was very happy with their purchase.

Brodie Keast of Palm, Inc. drew the name of the raffle winner – and the winner was – Jeri Quinn of Driving Improved Results ( The fabulous prize package included a Pink Palm Centro, gourmet chocolates, CD design kit, picture holder, journalist notebook, lip balm and other great stuff.

We really enjoyed the evening and think everyone else did too. If you thought this event was great or you didn’t make it this time, don’t miss our next months networking evening on March 12

We will be raffling off full conference passes to the following conferences at this event.
