June is here, and that means Webgrrls NYC's Summer Mixers are off to a start! The first event this summer took place at Moore Brothers Wine Company at 33 East 20th Street in Manhattan.

Moore Brothers sells carefully selected estate bottled wines, bringing together wines of extraordinary winemakers in pristine condition. "Here we sell wines that we love!" says David Moore, one of the Moore Brothers. "Fine, authentic, hand-made wines from artisans who are motivated by their traditions and vines, and committed to the highest standards of quality."

Webgrrls were treated to wine and cheese while networking with each other. The Moore Brothers' staff took time to explain the wines to each of us with every taste. All were able to enjoy the relaxed event, tasting the wines at their own pace, mingling with Webgrrls and other attendees to chat about their work, life, and more, plus exchanging ideas and business cards. We hope many new beneficial connections were made throughout the evening! Webgrrls would especially like to thank David Moore for hosting the event.

Here is what attendees had to say

"The people; the atmosphere; the cheese...GREAT fun!"

"The wine and cheese were very good, and the stories David Moore told about each one made them even more interesting. The venue was perfect. It was quiet, easy to talk to people, and separated from the main store. It was much better than meeting in a bar, or similar place that tends to get noisy and crowded".

"A great way to mingle and network with no pressure. Moore Brothers really know their stuff, and the room they gave us was ideal for this kind of event".

Everyone love the venue so much that we had to book another Wine and Cheese event on September 12.
