Is your Wordpress blog getting too big and slow? Then you must download and install the Super Cache plug-in which is said to improve Wordpress performance by at least two times over WP-Cache.

What is an Application Cache?

An application caching mechanism is a way to store data that requires a lot of processor time or other server resources in memory. This is done by programmers to improve performance of the application. Because the server does not have to recreate the information every time users request it the application, in this case Wordpress, responds faster and delivers the content to the user faster

Should you buy a Mac or a PC laptop?

Almost all PC laptops that you will buy today are packaged with Windows Vista. Vista has received mixed reviews from the public and I have been avoiding to upgrade until a lot of the performance issues with Vista are worked out. However, if you are in the market of buying a new laptop, you may not have an option to “wait it out”…chances are your system will come pre-packaged with Vista.

But did you know that you can get better performance with Vista by running it on a MacBook Pro? In fact, according to PC world, the fastest Windows Vista notebook they’ve tested this year is a Mac.

Try that again: The fastest Windows Vista notebook we’ve tested this year–or for that matter, ever–is a Mac. Not a Dell, not a Toshiba, not even an Alienware. The $2419 (plus the price of a copy of Windows Vista, of course) MacBook Pro’s PC WorldBench 6 Beta 2 score of 88 beats Gateway’s E-265M by a single point, but the MacBook’s score is far more impressive simply because Apple couldn’t care less whether you run Windows

Although a Mac is a little pricey, if your laptop performance is number one on your list, consider buying a MacBook Pro. Read PC World’s full test report.
