Convert Images to Text with Free OCR Tool

free OCRI recently came across a really neat online OCR (Optical Character Recognition) tool that converts images to text for FREE.

You can start using the Free OCR, all you have to do is upload your image files.  You need to have your document no larger than 2MB in size and in a PDF, JPG, GIF, TIFF or BMP format.

In my tests, the image to text conversion was pretty accurate. If the text font is to small or the background noise is to high (for example a background image) then the OCR process will fail like any other OCR tool.
