CEO of Cybergrrl, Inc./Webgrrls International Kevin Kennedy is a serial entrepreneur and an Internet pioneer. In January 1995, he co-founded and funded Cybergrrl, Inc., publisher of the New Media industry's first three websites for women - CYBERGRRL.COM, WEBGRRLS.COM and FEMINA.COM and one of the first full-service Internet agencies, which specialized in developing online strategies and resources for women and girls.
In April 1995, the company also organized the first Internet networking group for women, Webgrrls International, Inc., which now boasts over 100 chapters around the world throughout Asia, Australia, New Zealand, Europe, Canada and across the United States.
In addition to consulting major corporations and non profit organizations about Internet, online marketing and ecommerce strategies, he is an advisor to several real world and Internet companies and venture capitalists about Internet business and the New Media industry.
Kennedy is frequently asked to speak on behalf of the US State Department to foreign government representatives on the Internet industry and entrepreneurship and is a speaker around the country on topics such as marketing, building community and ecommerce. He has been featured in publications including Wall Street Journal, Information Week and Entrepreneur's Business Startups, in online publications including Salon.com, Techweb.com and cnet.com and has appeared in television and radio segments about the importance of understanding the women's market online.
